Recombinant human methionine aminopeptidase-2

The recombinant human methionine aminopeptidase-2 was expressed in sf21 cells and purified according the procedures described in BBRC 227:152-157, 1996. Protein Concentration was determined by using Bio-Rad protein assay kit. The purity of the protein was determined by SDS-PAGE.

PRODUCT:

Each vial contains 200 µl (~ 100 µg) purified human methionine aminopeptidase-2 in 20 mM Hepes, pH 7.4, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.02% NaN3, 10% glycerol and 0.1 mM Co(II).

STORAGE:

Store at -20 oC.
Stable for one year from the date of shipment. Non-hazardous. NO MSDS required.

SPECIFICITY:

The specificity of the enzyme is 11±0.5 units when 2 mM of Met-Gly-Met-Met is used as the substrate.
