This Rabbit IgG pincerTM Assay is a rapid, homogeneous antibody-based fluorescence assay for detecting and quantifying rabbit IgG in cell culture supernatants or other biological fluids.
The assay uses two rabbit IgG pincers that are anti-rabbit IgG specific antibody conjugated to short complementary single-stranded oligonucleotides. In the presence of rabbit IgG, the two single-stranded oligos associate to form a duplex and FRET (Fluorescence resonance energy transfer) is initiated between the two fluorophores labelled at the end of the two oligonucleotides. The amount of FRET signal is associated with the IgG concentration present in the samples. This assay is simple (one step) and fast (30 min).

The following rabbit IgG standard curve was prepared using the Rabbit IgG PincerTM Assay kit. This standard curve is for the purpose of illustration only, and should not be used to calculate unknowns. Each user should obtain his own data and standard curve.

Sensitivity: The minimum detectable concentration of rabbit IgG by this assay is estimated to be 30ng/mL.
